Signs Are Your Best Form of Advertising
My sign career started in 1985 at the Butera School of Art in Boston, MA. I learned how to letter by hand with a brush. I was taught the science of letters, layout, color and airbrushing. This was before computer plotters and printers were popular.
Twenty-five years later my career is consumed with keyboards, mice and scanners, cutting and weeding vinyl, carving and routering, painting, installing, and transferring the final product to the sign or vehicle. I have now entered the world of personalized apparel by offering heat transfered logos for shirts and hats.
I named the business Southpaw Sign Studio because I’m left-handed...some people get it, some don’t.
I hope you enjoy Southpaw’s portfolio. Many more pictures and samples of work can be viewed at our showroom in Maine. My daughter Hayley and I thank you for your interest.
